Brighton disappointed With Final match

Brighton suffered a 4-1 defeat during their last match of the Championship League as they played against Derby County in the Championship playoff semi-final match.

“The first goal was always going to be important, but the second was a big blow for us and we couldn’t take it. But today, to be honest, they were much better than us. The table doesn’t lie. We played much better in first leg and deserved much more, but in the second leg they were much better than us’’.

“Over the two legs they are a better team than us and they deserve to be in the final game. On the whole, it has been a fantastic season for us. Not many thought we’d reach the playoffs and with the injuries we had during the season it is an achievement for us.” Oscar Garcia said as he talked about the recent defeat of his club’’.
Even though Brighton & Hove Albion concluded the season with such a negative result, the head coach of the club Oscar Garcia stated that he is proud of everything that his players have accomplished in this season as it was a good and successful season according to the Spanish coach.

“I couldn’t be prouder of my players Derby were just better’’

“There was not much we could do about that. We are disappointed, but if you see the whole picture, it has been a very good season. The squad gave me everything and it has been a real pleasure to be their manager. We have dealt with a lot of injury problems this season, and I have to tell the players I am very proud of them, and then we will see what happens.” Garcia stated.
