BRIGHTON COULD LET AS MANY AS FIVE PAYERS GO

 

In the summer transfer window, Brighton made a few additions to their squat, having snapped up free agent Adam Lallana following his Liverpool exit, fellow free agent Danny Welbeck, and Joel Veltman.


The January transfer window is now less than one month away, and clubs are already preparing for the different businesses they will be handling, including arrivals and departures. One of those numerous clubs is Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club, who have outlined as many as nine players to possibly exit the club in the winter transfer window.

Both fringe players who are deemed surplus to requirements at the club and youngsters who need game-time will be leaving the club permanently and on loan respectively. Here is a list of the nine players rumored to be let go by the club next month.

  1. Bernardo

Bernardo has found it hard to impress Brighton boss Graham Potter with little or no opportunities given to him. He always puts in his best but looks set to be let go.

  1. Christian Walton

The goalkeeper was out on loan at Blackburn and was decent during that time. Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly interested in him and he may just join them.

  1. Florin Andone

The Romanian forward is still battling for fitness after his knee injury and should be fit come next month. However, his return to the team is a doubt.

  1. Jayson Molumby

Molumby wants to fight for his place in the Brighton team but the Ireland international has found chances hard to come by. He had a fruitful loan at Millwall last campaign and may be returning there to continue his career.

  1. Alireza Jahanbakhsh

He had his chances having been afforded some starts in the Carabao Cup games and was in fine form, making a claim to earn Premier League minutes, but his hopes were dashed with a hamstring injury. He may continue to be a sub should he remain at the club.
