Brighton fans criticise Hyppia

During the month of August and September, Brighton & Hove Albion could only manage on winning 2 Championship League matches while sustaining 4 losses and drawing 4 matches as well. This isn’t the way that the coach of Brighton wanted to kick off the season and those weren’t the results that Sami Hyypia wanted to pick up during the opening 10 matches of the campaign.

This abysmal season for Brighton has encouraged fans of the club on launching criticism towards the Finnish coach Sami Hyypia with even suggestions and claims of having him sacked for the manager that was appointed as the coach of the club on June of the ongoing year but the good results haven’t been picking up.

Sami Hyypia has responded by saying that he has faith in his squad and would like his fans and own players to keep their hopes alive and the positive results will start arriving with time.

“I would like to continue with my way of playing and the wins will come. As long as I am here I am not going to change how we approach the game because I believe in those things’’

“If something goes wrong I know I have done the things I believe in. If somebody else comes in and plays differently and wins games okay, but I don’t need to think about that. I have a lot of faith in this team and I would like the players to keep faith. When we start to put the ball in the back of the net, of course, it is better.” Hyypia told reporters.

Sami Hyypia enjoyed having huge success during his time as a player of Liverpool where he spent over 9 seasons playing and went on secure major titles including: Champions League, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and a few others.
