Sorry Swindon. You were really mugged by us that night. I remember listening to this over a ropey dial up connection in Delhi. It was gone 3 in the morning by the time this wrapped up. I was leaping around like a lunatic when Virgo scored. Woke up the house. Oops. Didn’t feel so good going into work at 7 the next day but you can’t have it all.

I was over in Brighton from Canada visitng my family in May 2004. We went to Spain for a trip and watched this game in a British pub on the Costa Del Sol in Spain . . . I dropped my full pint and it smashed on the floor when Virgo scored 🙂

see this is a prime reason why away goals shoulod be included in the play-offs

couldnt believe we lost. remember watching it and was about to book my ticket for the final! we were all over them in both games aswell

Still Can’t believe this still! Jammy Gets we were the better team over the 2 games as well! You just knew that we wouldn’t win the pen shootout too after that! But at least they beat Bristol in the Final LOL! We Should get Super Sam Back! His Career’s gone nowhere since he left us! and He’ll be playing in Non – League soon if he stays with Luton!

we were meant to have the dream final, swindon vs city in cardiff but fair play to brighton although we battered them 4 times that season! especially the 2 playoff games.the players did us proud that day and in a way thats whats most gutting,is that we deserved to play at cardiff.like the brighton fan said,that’s football…
